Edmonton fans are slowly becoming the same as Toronto fans. Thinking every team they trade with will retain half the salary of every player just cus Edmonton wants them to. You're not getting 5 players half retained.

I’d stay away from the Dallas deal the rest seem somewhat ok

Sorry for delay but issue I’d have with the Dallas trade is the goalie swap is questionable but more so as much as I’m a fan of Joe and he would be an excellent rental don’t really like giving up roster player prospects and picks to get him just seems like tapping into every source of resource we have in order to bring in a rental. Kass I know many just view as a cap dump but damn when he’s on his game he’s a wrecking ball that can and hopefully will come out in the playoffs really hesitant in moving him. Samorukov and Lavoie are both very good prospects loosing both in the same deal I’m not really a fan of doing but if that’s all that was involved could live with but then also have very significant amount of draft capital on top of it. Good target just too much in my IMO.

Yes Giroux, Klingberg, Tarasenko, Kessel. Somebody that makes a significant difference would be huge.

The Strome move would have to include the 22' 2nd rounder and even then we should reject it.
