Not a chance from Montreal. Toffoli and Perreault is a first and a second off the bat, you might need a sweetener. Jason Zucker's contract is not that.

Toffoli was traded for a 2nd and a 4th 2 years ago so relax, hes a career 11% shooter who shot 17.7% last year, lets be realistic about his value. Poulin (although he hasn't been great this year but usually power forwards take an extra year or 2 to develop) is a still a good prospect + a 2nd + a 3rd + a Zucker (who you guys could probably flip with a bit retained for minimum a 3rd) is more than a fair deal, probably overpayment.

If I'm Pens I say no. The improvement of Toffoli over Zucker isn't worth Poulin 2nd and 3rd. Would rather keep Zucker and the futures.

My point is that Toffoli isn’t an upgrade on Zucker. He’s a lateral move. There is no reason for the pens to trade a player that analytics say is better than Toffoli, plus a good prospect, and 2 picks for Toffoli
