I have no interest in blocking Ingram's backup role next season by trading a high pick for Allen. Although Rittich doesn't have the best stats this year, he honestly doesn't look that bad in net (fine in a backup role) -- and Ingram has shown he can fill in if/when needed.

Lehkonen is an upgrade on Grant, but is due a raise next year and Grant isn't; Kulak isn't anyone we want or need, so I can see Grant and a lower pick for Lehkonen, but not this exchange.

Probably 2-3 seasons. I'm pretty sure he's under contract for another year in the KHL after this one, and then I could see him playing a year in the AHL before hitting the NHL.

As a Bs fan, I don’t hate that Tofolli trade. 2 seconds is a hard ask but there’s a framework there somewhere. Interesting.

Rangers don’t trade either of those pieces one for one for chiarot. He’s not good. Yeah he plays 25 minutes on Montreal, but he doesn’t beat out lindgren or miller. Him and nemeth are essentially the same role player. Bottom pairing defenseman that have horrible possession stats, are overpaid and block shots. Rangers have no need let alone each of those pieces you traded for are worth more than chiarot
