they wont....its delusional to think avs are going to trade him, who is filling their 3C role putting up a 50 point pace as a rookie for a rental.

Oilers take that we have no use for 3rd round picks right now and barrie,kk,keith are all absolutely terrible so Braun would be an upgrade.

Newhook is untouchable. Nobody in the NHL is giving up and elite prospect for a rental “that returns in the off season”. This might as well be a MTL trade thread, it’s that bad.

The Jets aren't a good trading partner. Even with 50% salary retention, Ristolainen won't fit under the cap in Winnipeg.

But at 50%, someone will bite.

He's been decent this year, a second for him and a 3rd is more than fair value.

Just not sure the leafs need him.

No it’s not because the rest of league still knows the last 3 seasons he was sub .900 goalie, and is giving up 3.41 gaa in the games he has played this year. He just isn’t good hasn’t been good for years.

Recentcy bias is a ******, and happens to all of us. Goalies are twice as bad because trying to truly asses a value is even harder because so many teams are not willing to spend big on a goalie.
