Description
Just what the team could potentially look like in the future of we stay patient.

Taxi squad is players I expect could crack the roster in the next few years. I'm sure I'm missing a few as well.

Don't worry about being under the cap, that's dealt with easy enough.

So you’re signing a 31 year old Leddy to a 5 year deal after this season?

Eff I meant to make that two years, was supposed to be a 4 year deal.

That's what happens when you stop making these and do something else then come back to it lol

why not, most of the league is squeezing the bottom players and paying the top end. i would offer him between 2-2.2 mill over 4 years or let him walk. he may be having a decent season this year but he is a 3rd liner on Detroit, most other teams probably wouldn't offer that much and anyone who does will regret it.

Basically my thought process, alot of other guys could take his spot either internally or through free agency

Alexander Holtz is likely to be there as well. The negotiations are ongoing with his team and there's a spot kept open for him.

You should resign Pius Suter too.

With a hard working, defensively responsible, centre in Veleno and a playmaking right winger in Berggren, Suter would be perfect as a shooter on the left side. Rasmussen doesn't fit in that line at all.

I was thinking that he would be better suited for the fourth line, but was hoping his game would improve. I'm not opposed to resigning Suter at all.
