Weird game. Maple Leafs dominated in possession, shots, and faceoffs, and yet the Lightning took advantage of the opportunities handed to them, along with Vasi coming up huge even on what for him was an off-night.

If I was the defense coach I would be getting the beating stick as thats not a good look as they had 8 turnovers of which 4 resulted in goals for Tampa. For Toronto they drew 5 turnovers of which 2 ended up in the net.

-I’ve already talked about the lines, and I’m STILL pissed about them scratching Yegor for the third straight game. Watch them send down Chinakhov instead of Danforth when Laine fully recovers. I would cry if they did.

-The Best Fourth Line in Hockey (tm) came to win tonight. Robbie to Sean to Tex for a nice goal.

-Zach scored, but he was offsides. I audibly yelled “WHY!?” when that was called back. That would have pretty much won us the game, too.

-Boqvist left the game early with an upper body injury. Hopefully he’s not out for like a month like last time.

-For the first time in forever, we actually outshot our opponent. It’s a goddamn miracle.

-It felt weirdly good to not have an OTL on the record for this long, but all good things must come to an end.

I seriously wonder like what happened with Coleman for NJ, If Anaheim makes Terry available what return can be expected.

Not saying it will happen as they rn are in a playoff spot but if they fall off at the deadline I wonder do they consider it as an A prospect + 1st + could be intriguing
