Did Chris not even talk to other GMs? Buchnevich was elite last season , on pace for 72 points. He was worth at least a 1st , 2nd , B prospect.

It is, Rangers weren’t even in a bad spot, they didn’t need the cap space. It just made no sense. It’s a long shot for Kakko and Laf to be as good as Buch.

Isles traded Toews because Trotz believed Leddy was a better player - they had to choose one because they had to sign Pulock + Barzal. One of the worst trades in isles history.

Players like Kapanen, Palmieri (rental), and Reinhart got more than Buchnevich
Imagine how good the Rangers could have been if they had kept Buchnevich, didn't sign Nemeth, and didn't make all of those other unnecessary GRIT moves
Drury is one of the worst GMs in the league

If Drury was smart he would have done this:
Re-sign Buchnevich 6.25 x 6
Trade Zibanejad for a 1st+
Trade Schneider, Kakko, 1st for Eichel


22-23 lineup :
Laf-Eichel-Buchnevich
Panarin-Chytil-Kravstov
Kreider-UFA-Hunt
UFA-Barron-Gauthier

I know I said this before but you know when your favorite team is your worst enemy. I’m feeling this way right now. And about our power play. Imo we need to make some trades to stay competitive with these injuries and covid

They aren’t covering posts ( as far as I know, no post has been hidden by an ad being over it by looking at post numbers ) but yes, they’re everywhere

I just gotta say that u caps fans are so lucky, Skinner is the first Oilers drafted goalie to be playing this well since Devan Dubnyk (just realized they both have alliteration names lol) and that was over ten years ago, where as the caps have been a goalie factory

All games on the 23rd are postponed so tomorrow are the last games until after Christmas, this also means 2 day of games fantasy week so I’m thrilled, it’s pretty much a contest of who’s team plays the most during those 2 days
