He usually does well round 1 and 2 (sometimes) as its ez. Its the other rounds you go wtf are you doing lul

After just watching Jake Oettinger make 20 saves in PERIOD 1, is Dallas really going to send him back down once Bishop is healthy, or roll 3 goalies? Bishop / Holtby / Oettinger and trade Khudobin

Seriously, before this year I though he was a terrific coach. But when Chara is leading your team in ice time and Ross Johnston is getting more ice time than Wahlstrom...that's just insane.

It’s absurd, usually when a young forward produces at a a borderline elite rate he gets a promotion to the top 6. Wahlstrom plays 4th line minutes and he’s not even sheltered, he plays against top 6 lines all the time. I don’t know what the issue is.

If you were to tell me the Minnesota Wild would be as of now the #1 team in the NHL (no guarantee how long it lasts but if they win tonight they are 1 point ahead of Tampa, Florida, Toronto, and Washington and are on an 8 game winstreak)

I would have called you bat **** crazy

The fact they are doing this well despite having no true top 6 center core is mind boggling. Guess top 6 centers are overrated lul

Looks like the Canukleheads solution to their problem is so simple - just create layer-on-layer-of-management - yeah that'll fix ur >50yr old franchise wagon!

The Wild are 62-26-6 since Evason took over at the end of the 2019-2020 season. Evason not only boasts the best 94 game start of any head coach in Wild history, but he’s having historic early success. Only four coaches won more through their first 82 career games.

Still, its so weird lul

Cause if you look at how the team is constructed that center position should be a glaring weakness preventing this level of success especially when you consider their division has Colorado and St. Louis

But nope who knew a center core of Eriksson Ek, Hartman, Gaudreau, and Rask would lead this team ahead of Colorado or St. Louis. And of those 4 centers only one of them even qualifies as a top 6 candidate. Gaudreau is a 4c along with Rask, and Hartman is more suited for wing.
