That’s wishful thinking especially when a mod is fine with it ( as long as it respected the other forum rules most likely)

Wishful thinking it may be, but I don't see why it's so unreasonable to expect a thread literally titled "NHL Season Discussion" not to involve everybody insisting why their takes on COVID are right.
(Besides, have you ever seen anybody agree to their opponent's arguments in a COVID dispute? Everybody-unfortunately-came up with their own opinions on Day 1 of how things should be, and have stuck to them ever since, regardless of how wrong they've been proved. No side is going to convince the other why they're right/wrong. It's a waste of time.)
And believe me, it's tempting for me to respond to people saying idiotic things like "Southern states pretend COVID isn't a threat". But I won't, because THAT SHOULDN'T BE WHAT THIS SITE IS FOR. It's for hockey. Keep your political opinions to yourself, or if you wish to express them here, create a separate thread, preferably in The Box. Not in a thread titled "NHL Season Discussion."

Yep, I don't know what's going to be, but I have MacKinnon, Devon Toews, Kuemper, Lindholm, Ullmark, and Duchene all sitting until at least the 27th.

The “NHL Season” has turned into a game of who doesn’t have covid. It’s natural that that is the main topic of discussion, because that’s literally all there is to discuss right now. It’s the 20 biggest news items of every day. Also, covid shouldn’t be political. It’s science, not something you can take sides on.

This is awful on so many levels. Blindside hit to the head on someone without the puck? Should be 10 automatically. Maybe 5 if the principal point of contact wasn’t the head (can’t tell from the angles in that vid), but if it was, minimum 10.

Formenton scored a sick breakaway goal tonight on the penalty kill, stripping Yandle of the puck and then blowing past him to go 1 on 1 with the goalie. He buries those more consistently and he’ll be an invaluable member of our 3rd line moving forward. This is exactly the role the Sens would love him to fill moving forward, being a very good 3LW/PKer with some scoring touch to go with his blazing speed, making him a threat even with a man in the box.

Bouchard with another goal and assist tonight, now has 5 goals and 13 assist for 18 points, leads Oilers dmen in points and has played in every game for the Oilers, he is also +5 and he gets #1pk time, BTW his goal tonight was a prime example of a Bouch Bomb
