Stars GM Jim Nill says that due to a degenerative condition in his right knee, he will most likely be ending his career.
Bishop has signed a 6-year contract with the Stars in 2017, worth 29.5 million USD.
Bishop's last game before he got injured was in the bubble playoffs in a 6-3 loss to Colorado.
That will likely be his last ever NHL game.

rly sad. My favourite goalie in the league. absolutely loved him when he played for Tampa. hate to see players retire this way.
