Potential DeBrusk trades

Created by: Lets_Go_Bruins2024

Description
I think DeBrusk has a lot of value to the Bruins and has played well this year, so I'd rather they didn't trade him personally. Still, he has formally requested a trade and if he were traded it could possibly lead to a spot for maybe Jack Studnicka or another young forward in the lineup, so there are positives to trading him beyond the return in the trade. Anyways, here are some ideas for if he were traded:
Trades
1.
BOS
  1. 2022 3rd round pick (LAK)
NSH
    LW Jake DeBrusk

DeBrusk is worth about a 3rd and the Preds could use him
    2.
    MIN
      LW Jake DeBrusk

Beckman is a good prospect with solid upside, and is almost NHL-ready so the Bruins could probably slot him in to replace DeBrusk should they feel the need.
      3.
      BOS
      1. Tschigerl, Sean [Reserve List]
      2. 2023 4th round pick (ANA)
      ANA
      1. DeBrusk, Jake
      Additional Details:
The Ducks seem like the most obvious trade partner for DeBrusk. They're a young team looking to turn the corner, and they desperately need a LW. DeBrusk would at least be a 2nd line player for them, and their farm system is good enough that they can easily part with a couple prospects to get DeBrusk. Tschigerl was a 5th round pick last year, but is tearing it up right now in the WHL, with 15 goals in 24 games.

At that price, why not — I’d take a chance on DeBrusk.

Your explanation as to why Boston would trade Debrusk for Beckman is exactly why Minnesota wouldn't trade Beckman for Debrusk

Btw, just cause Beckman was a 3rd rounder, doesn't mean he's worth a 3rd rounder. It's clear he wentba lot later than he should've and has been for a while

You think he has a lot of value yet trade him for nothing. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Agreed, the Wild might just need Beckman next year to fill a roster spot cheaply since they'll likely need to trade away a couple current roster players.

I wonder if he would have an easier time being traded if he agreed to a reasonable extension for 1 year as part of a trade to get past the high QO

I'm sincerely hoping it's Greener and only Greener. He seems like a cool guy and the idea of him is salivating but the actual product is often underwhelming. Plus, I think there's a chance he could fetch a premium

I think the problem with DeBrusk is he's kind of a tweener - if he was a little grittier he'd be good in the bottom six and if he got his scoring up like 10-15 pts he'd be on the second line no problem - the other thing is his 1st year was his best year, people like to see progression not stagnation and regression - but all that being said he's worth more than a 3rd probably more like a mid-round 2nd
