When Muzzin goes down in the playoffs it's a massive challenge for the Leafs. Manson can bring what Muzzin brings and improves the top 4. Lauzon can also be a muzzin type but in a lesser role

Anaheim is probably extending Manson, doubt he's available, the Ducks are a playoff team unless they have a bunch of major injuries.

Order of most likely to least likely to sign an extension in ANA: Lindholm, Rakell and then Manson.

They’ll take it all the way to the TDL I’m sure. If they’re in. A playoff spot they’ll probably stand pat. If they are out of a playoff spot I can see them trading Manson and Rakell.

Weird in mine you have Mikheyev slotted on the 4th line. However they might move Mikheyev for late picks as they have solid offensive depth in the minors

I think he can. More defensive and grit that offense but good for a playoff run I believe

Offence is not a concern. Im afraid teams will do what Boston and CBJ did in 2018-2020. Dump it in on the right side and attack the weaker defender.

Manson wouldn't be a weaker defender on the right side

yeah it's hard to watch. Holl would be fine as a bottom pairing defenseman but he's brutal playing 20+ minutes a night

Sesattkle says no.

Anderson has not made in the nhl with two clubs (a woeful NJ and TMLF have put him in minors for 2 yrs) and multiple chances and is a 25 yr ahler with 5 pts in 12 games this year, not exactly developing more.
Engvall is a 26 yr old, who has some tools but does not produce at a NHL level.

Dermott with declining icetime is maybe equal to Lauzon, but those other two pieces don;t move the bar for Seattle and for them to Jarnkrot and retention?

Maybe take out one of engvall or anderson and add a 3rd, but somehow I think they still say no

My esteemed colleague Jah1722 explains why both Miss TheWhalers and AntreDiAnaheim are right: the Ducks would accept this offer if they were out of the playoff hunt and knew that they wouldn't re-sign Manson (for whatever reason).
