its kinda sad but you are actualy better just sending a few guys to minors or you would be under cap lower limit. buffalo had to take on a 6 m$ cap hit so this wouldn't be issue after the jack trade.

I think Buffalo is still at the point where they would be wise to be weaponizing their cap space

Arizona only has so much more cap room to spare this season, but in the off-season, boy, they might have some trouble just getting up to the cap floor with all the money they have coming off the books. They'll have to land some big free agent signings, let alone continue to weaponize their cap space
