GM Game Master Thread

OK. Here's a game that people can play if they want where people can pretend to be the GM of a team, and we can make trades and stuff as if it's the offseason (no vegas expansion trades until we get closer to the expansion draft, though you may talk about those trades). You may ask for a team, and i will give you that team if it isn't already taken. My favourite teams are the Rangers and Islanders tied, so i'll be the Islanders. Each person may only be the GM of one team.

I have a question for Arizona: Are any of your goalies available? Like Smith or Domingue?

Okay, at this point we need 20 more to fill the game up. If i'm correct we have 11.

Remember goalies blossom when they hit 25 or 26. Just look at Rask and Martin Jones. He;s putting up similar numbers as them, he just needs a chance to emerge as a #1 guy in the next 2 or 3 years. Subban is only 23, he needs a chance and a couple more years of practice and then he could be a stud #1 goalie.

He's a good young player. Bottom 6 player potential probably.

You are aware Rask won a Vezina right?

Rask is also 8th in the league in GAA, while having to play more games than he's capable of playing because we had no backup goalie, which decreased his stats drastically. He's one of the top 5 goalies number wise if he plays less than 60 games. look up those years and he's under 2.30GAA and great s%. I bet if you took best stats of goalies of the last 5 years he'd be top 5. He had a down year and was 2.56GAA and people treated him like trash. 2.56GAA would be about what Corey Crawford is putting up this year. He's 2.53 and he's considered a top 10 goalie or top 5. Theres a lot of goalies overrated and Rask is totally underrated.

For Johnson, it would involve Krug and Killorn is open as long as the deal is fair.

Dauphin looks like a nobody right now. I'd rather just keep Subban than trade him for a guy who probably tops out as a middling 3rd liner.

I was thinking Killorn not Johnson because Johnson is really expensive. I'd take Killorn for like Beleskey, Subban and Heinen.... maybe more.

How is Beleskey earning 3.8 mil? Also I don't need Subban since I already have Vasy and Ingram looks solid so far.
