So what's the draft schedule? Is it exactly that link? If so, shouldn't BreKel have had until 8:30est to make the pick? It was the 4th overall in the 2nd round, so he should've had until 8:30est. Unless I'm reading it wrong and am a complete moron, which I wouldn't rule out

That's Round 1. Round 2 is only 1.5 hours per pick. You're looking at the schedule for the first round.

Yea Brekel got screwed hard if the schedule changed. I would be okay with giving him a compensatory pick in the 3rd round or something

For people who've never used that, outside of a couple of times in school, it's really hard to find. It's like a half inch on the bottom of the screen that blends in with the portrait of the page. Anyways, carry on

Oh, another thing. The second round and later rounds makes sense to go faster, since the players will probably have less of an impact, and it isn't a huge decision, but the 2 1/2hrs really helps people who can't stay on their computers/phones all the time. The NHL does it faster because everyone's there, but this isn't the real NHL or the real draft, not everyone is here all the time. The draft time should've stayed the same. I know it's too late, but for future reference.

I only see picks 1-31 for this. Nothing under neath for other rounds. I want a redo for the draft here. I should be allowed to make my pick in the time frame presented.

The time between picks gets shorter with progressive rounds.
The 2nd and 3rd rounds are 1.5 hours between picks.
The schedule is there, and it is correct.

I can't speak to not knowing how to read the schedule. Nobody mentioned anything about the 2nd round having 3 hour blocks or asking where the 2nd round schedule is.
Everyone knew the 2nd round was 1.5 hours in the rules. Knowing that and looking at a schedule showing 3 hour long blocks should have at least raised some questions.

Literally the 2nd comment in the draft thread shows the time frames. If you didn't read it, it isn't anyone else's fault.

And no mention of subsequent tabs for the other rounds. Not my fault I haven't had to use a spread sheet in years lmfao. Short time with your "wife," eh.......

Regardless of what happened, I think there are much better ways to handle it.
I don't disagree with everything you've said Brekel, but this is one instance where RIAF is innocent.
All he did was select a player when it was his turn to do so. It could have easily been someone else.

ROUND 1 - Begins Friday, May 26th at 9:00am EST

1. GM's will have a window of 2.5 hours at a scheduled time to make their selection.
The first pick of each day is allowed to make their selection any time after the last pick of the previous day, until the end of their scheduled window in the morning.
(The 1st, 6th, 11th, 16th, 20th, 24th, and 28th picks would have an "overnight" window. The 6th pick can make their selection Friday night after the 5th pick has been made, for example.)

2. You must make your selection BEFORE the end of your allotted time. DO NOT wait until the last minute.
If a pick is not used prior to the end of the scheduled time, the BOG will automatically select the next highest ranked prospect on behalf of that GM.
Once a selection has been posted, either by you or by the BOG on your behalf, it is PERMANENT. There will be NO CHANGES permitted. No exceptions.
(If you attempt to make your selection 5 minutes before the end of your scheduled time, and/or you lose your internet connection temporarily, too bad. We simply can't delay the entire schedule if something happens, even if it is out of your control. You will still get the next highest ranked player, but it may not be the specific player you wanted.)

3. Wait until the selection for the person before you has been posted. The BOG will make every effort to process the selection at the end of the appointed time, but we may not be right on time for every single window, and we have to process the Selection Tracker/Trades/Verify Picks, etc. If you make your pick before the previous one is processed you may end up with an automatic selection if you pick the same player as the person before you.

ROUND 2 and 3 - Begin Friday, June 2nd at 9:00am EST
GM's will have a window of 1.5 hours at a scheduled time to make their selection. Otherwise, the same rules apply as in round 1.

ROUND4 - Begins Friday, June 9th at 9:00 am EST
GM's will have a window of 1 hour at a scheduled time to make their selection. Otherwise, the same rules apply as in rounds 1-3.

ROUNDS 5-7 - Begin Sunday, June 11th at 1pm EST
GM's will have a window of 30 minutes at a scheduled time to make their selection. Otherwise, the same rules apply as in rounds 1-4.
