GM Game Master Thread

OK. Here's a game that people can play if they want where people can pretend to be the GM of a team, and we can make trades and stuff as if it's the offseason (no vegas expansion trades until we get closer to the expansion draft, though you may talk about those trades). You may ask for a team, and i will give you that team if it isn't already taken. My favourite teams are the Rangers and Islanders tied, so i'll be the Islanders. Each person may only be the GM of one team.

Here is the way I see it:

First, the BOG is under no obligation to notify you for something that is perceived to been seen by all, especially if you made no attempt to bother asking about the Draft. Assuming that the BOG will tell you when you are supposed to pick is on you, not the BOG.

Second, the Entry Draft schedule has been posted numerous times and is easily accessible. If you are confused as to when you pick, you have to ask questions. Be proactive, not reactive.

Third, there isn't anyone to blame but yourself for missing your pick. You have had ample amounts of time to either notify a BOG or another GM to make your pick for you, set up a preference list, or just simply be on time to draft during your allotted time.

The setup was near perfect, nobody else has complained to the extend that you have about this draft. Everything has been clear since the Draft has been set up. Sack up and deal with your consequences instead of blaming others.

Not entirely sure of the exact details. I'd be shocked if it was just for the draft actions though. MODs won't comment on the why aspect tho due to site policy

okay. I know him and myself engaged in talks this morning that have since been deleted, but I was unsure. some of the stuff that he says in the AGM section is rough to anyone who doesn't see eye to eye with him.

The Fix is In...let me know when you can come up w/ another team that I can make tee-shirts for with that caption. I have 4 off-the top of my head for Pitt:

If someone can explain to me how this entire playoffs were not remotely fixed in favor of the Penguins, please, let me know.

sidenote, at least we (the Flyers) didn't almost go bankrupt...twice

Waiting until I can see some more angles and replays on that Hornqvist goal, but it seems suspect at first look.
Definitely contact made prior to the goal and by the player that scored the goal.

Hate to see such a sketchy seeming end to a pretty good game.
Nashville had their chances though.
