OK. Here's a game that people can play if they want where people can pretend to be the GM of a team, and we can make trades and stuff as if it's the offseason (no vegas expansion trades until we get closer to the expansion draft, though you may talk about those trades). You may ask for a team, and i will give you that team if it isn't already taken. My favourite teams are the Rangers and Islanders tied, so i'll be the Islanders. Each person may only be the GM of one team.

My whole damn minor league system is going to be free agents, can I just sign everyone to 825k and be done. Anybody important is locked up.

I assume the Monday is hard for a lot of us. At least we could look for a weekend. And as for the entry draft, we should wait until after the SCF are over so we know the order. How about the evening of June 17?

oops forgot to check what day may 15th was. Maybe may 13-14 for UFA's then, and expansion draft. Entry draft can wait until after cup finals, I agree.

So how are we doing UFA day? I have another idea. Maybe teams could match a bid with money but sign for more years. Example:

Let's say TJ Oshie becomes a UFA, and NYR, NYI, DAL, and CGY all want to sign him. Let's say NYR starts by saying 5mil a year, NYI says 5.5mil a year, DAL says 6mil a year, CGY says 6.25mil, NYR says 6.5mil, NYI says no, we don't want him, DAL says 7mil, CGY says we'll match that. 7mil. Then maybe NYR says no. Then DAL and CGY would have to decide who would offer the longer contract. So if CGY says 5 yrs, and DAL says 7 yr, DAL signs oshie for 7 yrs at 7mil per.

If anyone is interested in Dubinsky, Calvert, I will be more than happy to listen to offers. Calvert can be had for a 4th round pick. Dubinsky looking for a solid prospect and 2nd or third rounder depending on who prospect is.

THE TEAMS THAT ARE 100% MATHEMATICALLY ELIMINATED, CAN MAKE THEIR TRADES OFFICIAL NOW. SO EDIT ON THE TRADE SECTION AND SAY THAT IT'S OFFICIAL.


Also have both teams make the trade on their own respective team page.
