GM Game Master Thread

OK. Here's a game that people can play if they want where people can pretend to be the GM of a team, and we can make trades and stuff as if it's the offseason (no vegas expansion trades until we get closer to the expansion draft, though you may talk about those trades). You may ask for a team, and i will give you that team if it isn't already taken. My favourite teams are the Rangers and Islanders tied, so i'll be the Islanders. Each person may only be the GM of one team.

They won't need it. Thanks to teams screwing up their expansion lists, Vegas already has Holtby, M. Murray, and Greiss to choose from. And that's just for the goalies.

And the rangers didn't protect jt Miller for some reason so there's a nice top 6 winger for them too.
Edit: Nvm he has a deal in place for Vegas to take Holden

If I still have UFA Budaj after expansion, he's on sale for a very reasonable price of a 2017 1st, and 3 2nd round picks

All those deals are unofficial...if it were me, I would break a deal if it allows me a chance at a really good player instead.

Not sure what some GMs were thinking...top priority should have been to protect yourself for expansion.

I think all those deals were official..? In any case, if Vegas wanted a better player selection they had the choice to wait until expansion to make a deal, but they made a choice not to. Remember, this Vegas team looks like it could be hella loaded anyway lol

Hey guys, I feel the need to say that Erik Karlsson is the best defenseman in the world. We never see any spectacular defensive
plays from him because he always has the puck, and is transitioning into offense so quickly. Bye.
