Chicago isn't looking to trade Kane. Him and DeBrincat are dynamite together. They need to fill out the rest of the roster to compete again. They're more likely to trade Kubalik than Kane. Also not sure that package gets it done anyway.

Buffalo declines easily.

Gotta give up more than that to get kane. Honestly don't think Toronto has the prospects to get kane especially considering that first round pick would be very late

For Kane i would add Amirov and see if that gets it done, that would equate to 3 first round picks in Amirov, Robertson, and the late 1st, i wanna see Kane play with his fellow countryman AM34 they would be filth together and its looking less likely we will get to see them play together in Beijing

Thats fair, he likely has lost some value but i wonder if teams see what his brother is doing in Dallas and think maybe if hes close to that a great piece to have

Kane and Debrincat are definitely nasty together i just dont see Chicago competing before Kanes contract expires and they would get a lot more if they considered moving him with a year remaining on his contract

I still don't think that gets it done. Amirov is the best piece but the hawks would want 2 or 3 pieces comparable to amirov. Robertson and the late first don't cut it. Kane with Mathews would be ridiculous though

I get that, Kane is on another level would take some serious pieces to move him and Toronto doesn't have the prospect depth they once did

I think kane is a hawk his whole career. He wants the hawks records. He's a big stat guy

Young Kane was padding the stats on and off the ice he's a beauty the Kane AM34 back and forth game with the showtime celebration was electric

They may not be looking to compete before then, they may be hoping he takes a discount on his next contract (Toews definitely will if he doesn't decide to retire, which is also possible), so that they can use the cap to add to the team via free agency.

Leafs would have to empty the cupboards (that are already pretty bare) of their prospects to get Kane, dont think theyd do that and dont think it makes sense for them since their offense is fine but defense is trash.

It was loosely reported NYR would trade Kakko, Kravtsov, Lindkvist + 22' 1st.

TOR unfortunately can't get close to that offer.
