I agree, but I think you're thinking of those assets as them hitting their high potential. I don't see Wahlstrom hitting 40 goals, Raty just recently had a breakout and who knows how his game will translate, and the pick could become lower bc Chychrun makes them immediately better but for the sake of this I made it a top 10. It's a tough deal for sure, but it could be worth it too

I don't think the Isles make this deal with Wahlstrom included. Raty? Sure. The 1st rounder? Sure (if top-10 protected). But Wahlly pushes this too far. You can keep Crouse to lower the return. Isles could add another pick plus a defensive prospect like Bolduc.

Wahlstrom could if he played with Barzal, either way he’ll be a 30 goal scorer. Raty’s floor is probably 4C but ceiling of 2C. Make the 2022 1st top 10 protected… and add in Bode Wilde or Bolduc as well as a 2nd.

i’d only consider it if the pick is top-10 protected. giving up raty, wahlstrom and nemec feels like a massive L even tho chychrun is a fantastic player.

Trotz seems to hate Beau, and works capwise. Beauvillier still has potential imo.
