This team won't make the playoffs this year and with the moves u made... they won't next year. You didn't improve their biggest need, goaltending. I don't think adding an aging Justin Williams will help.

With the kind of season Trouba is having no way does he sign for 5 years @ $5.5 million per when Trouba hits UFA status if he does. He will easily get between $6 million per to $7 million per he brings tons to the game.

I actually hate that Trouba trade. Getting a winger back is the last thing we need if Trouba is dealt. Trouba will be getting closer to $8 per year long term if he wants it.

Planning on a season with Chiarot and Postma on the bottom pair where Stuart is the injury replacement may actually cause a riot.

JimmyJets: Is Trouba going to be paid as the 4th highest Dman in the league as you suggest? I imagine the Jets budget for the team is 135m. Jets ownership should spend 5m more (yea it ain't my money) and spend to about 70m or so in cap space. Bringing in one good Dman might make the difference between making the playoffs or not.

Jets seem to have a goaltending issue but it also has a lot to do with not being able to defend in their own zone.
