Nashville just traded for Myers, they aren't going to give up on him this quickly

I don't think Chiarot is worth a 1st rounder, I don't think Brassard is worth a 2nd

I don't mind the Rangers trade, but I also don't think Kassian costs that much to dump

I just thought that Myers would be a nice fit on the top 6 and Barrie can go play more minutes in Nashville with Ekholm and possibly boost Ekholms offensive numbers. I was thinking the same thing for Kassian but he does have a little more term on his contract. I’ve been going back and forth on Chariot and wondering if he really is worth a 1st round pick. But I guess if the Oilers are truly desperate than he would be.

Maybe, but as for Nashville, they aren't in a position to be contending anytime soon, so bringing in Barrie would be very counter-productive. Quite frankly, I'm still somewhat puzzled by their decision to re-sign Ekholm and the fact that Forsberg isn't already actively being shopped

Same here though honestly but it seems to be working well for them at the moment. Not only that they also re-signed Granlund to quite the contract as well.

Oh yeah, I was also ripping David Poile for continuing to kick Granlund's tires after it was clear that he lost the Fiala trade, but I guess persistence paid off in that instance. Nevertheless, woe to Predator's fans if Poile is trying to sheepishly execute some sort of competitve rebuild

It really doesn't matter if WE think Chairot is worth a 1st pick or not, that's the asking and expected price for him so he will fetch that to the team that wants him!

Well there is quite the market for LHD and because of that I’m a little bit uncertain if a 1st round pick is the price for him. But the team that wants him that much would more than likely pay that price though.
