compher is scoring at a higher rate than anyone on the habs, including suzuki. if he was healthy he could be the habs leading scorer.
olausson becomes the habs clear cut 2nd best forward prospect behind caufield.
then you get a 1st and 2nd on top of that.

its very similar to the eichel deal except suzuki isn't eichel. he's on pace for a career high 49 points. eichels been almost a ppg since coming in the league.

Habs easily decline, also the cap kills you especially since Pavelski, Kuemper and co probably command more on the FA market

pavs takes less to finally get a cup. avs are a great fit for him too.

kuemper needs to play better to get a raise. if he does though i think the avs just don't sign zar or add jost to the this trade and get the habs 2022 2nd back.

Habs decline but then so do the Avs. Too much to give up in a cap era for a guy who MIGHT be good enough. The Habs wouldn't make the trade in the hopes he WILL be good enough.
