Colorado deal hands down. Newhook is going to be a player and a half.

Yup, Do you think the trade is realistic?

Since you're getting a center prospect back as the centerpiece of each trade, I like the Horvat trade for Vancouver the most, but I think that Newhook and Pinto are significantly better prospects than Kiss-my-ting-off.

I wouldn't move those players for Boeser as it sits.

Newhook has the potential to be the best piece in the return, but the Ottawa deal is the best value for what you're giving up, so probably that one.

If two of these trades got done plus their picks they would make in 2022 draft they would be loaded. I would do the Miller and Boeser trades as my top two, add in a few UFAs in the off-season and team could be good - Hertl, Domi, Strome etc

The cap doesn't even work for Minnesota plus bo horvat would be a free agent after 22-23 season where wild can't afford to resign him, so keeping Marat k is more important

1. COL
2. OTT
3. MIN

Newhook>Pinto>Khusnutdinov
Helleson >=Lassi>Hunt

And I feel like Miller would be most likely to walk if they all played out their contracts.

Is Helleson really better than Thomson? Thomson has high top 4 potential

Fully agree, Miller is definitely most likely to walk for a big payday, I would drop the 2nd rounder to get this deal done,

Helleson might be the worst defenseman in question here.

I had Thomson as the top D here

Newhook

COL and OTT laugh at those offers. Newhook is going to be a beast. Helleson is maybe my favorite Av prospect not in the NHL because he brings a different element to the d-Corp.

I don’t know about better how about different? Helleson is big physical and skate and if he meets his potential is the defensive anchor of the top 4. Thomson definitely had a higher offensive upside imo.

He’s got good numbers in college right now from what I’ve seen

Fine numbers but he doesn't stand out in any way when you watch him and he isn't dominating anything at that level (in his third year now). He's just a solid, smoothy, steady back end presence, but he's nothing special.

Do you think he’s an A or B level prospect? I assume his values is a B which is why I added him vs Barron from COL

I would do the Minnesota trade as it would be the most likely of the 3 to actually happen. Ottawa and Colorado don’t even consider those.

No I’m not, OTT and COL won’t even consider it thus you get an answer. Trades have to work both ways not just what looks good for one team.

I understand the OP but just wanted to say that Ottawa would not and should not trade Shane Pinto. He's a keeper, just like Norris, Batherson and Tkachuk were.

The Magnificent Seven™ is real (Chabot, Sanderson, Stutzle, Batherson, Pinto, Norris, Tkachuk)

If we're asking which team gets ripped off worst then the Canucks take the Colorado trade above the others. However, neither of COL or OTT accept so the point is moot. The trades aren't remotely realistic.
