I would be surprised if Oilers considered Bouchard trade given their RD depth now and in the future. Moreover, he is still on ELC.

Side question. Would you take on both TJ and Connolly for the Hawks 2nd round pick?

I am thinking having a quality 3C (for edmonton) at 2.5 million for 2 years (then one more RFA year) plus a 1st is worth more than one more year of an inexpensive Bouchard. Maybe I am wrong

Maybe at the moment, but not likely in the near future. I like the idea, just not sure if the Oilers would want to trade Bouchard.

That's fair, just explaining my thought process

Maybe teams (LA and Rangers) that have a little more RDs, and which they will not need in the near future. I think Adams will have many options to find RD, the only question is what he is willing to give up.

Yeah no this is awful. Why would edmonton trade a young top pair RD for a bust 3rd liner?
