Matthew has literally been successfully playing RW all season, plus the last quarter of last season lol. Regardless, it doesn’t make sense for both Ottawa and Calgary, Matthew is just as important to Calgary as Brady is to Ottawa (probably gets the C the second he signs long term as well), and Batherson is playing himself further into untouchable territory every day.

Flames would do the Hertl trade, although I’d probably take out Ruzicka, Monahan+1st should be enough, if they want Huckins added then I don’t really care lol

On a team where dollars need to be managed carefully, I can't imagine a scenario where I trade Batherson's contract

Connor Brown is probably still very underrated by most. An elite matchup forward is very very valuable. Just look no further than waht Pageau and Coleman returned as RENTALS... and Brown produces comfortably more than both.

Matthew Tkachuk is great but Batherson + Brown bring more.
