Rids a bad contract and gains them a top 6 winger. Could perhaps see a late pick also with Kubs. Whats so bad about it?

Kubs has value of a 1st plus okay prospect (kravtsov) and Lundkvist pays for Goodrows dump.

Can't see NYR being into that. Goodrow contract isn't great but for now he's a useful veteran in a relatively young lineup. I wouldnt say hes at "cap dump" status for them, maybe later in the deal but not now. I know they still want a piece of equal value for Kravtsov and Lundkvist is valued pretty high inside the org. Just seems like a little too much for a guy who hasn't had the best start. Not saying the fit is bad, but maybe the deal could be a touch simpler

I'm a B's fan and like Kubalik - is he rumored to be moved or was this just a random idea?

It is a random idea, there has been nothing to suggest Kubs moving occurs. Was interested to get feedback on this type of deal. We have been a place of late to take bad contracts, albeit under the previous regime. Thanks for your feedback.

Goodrow is just fine, no need to “dump” his long term low wage for a guy that plays everywhere for us. However, Fleury would make a good backup in a playoff run for us, assuming Georgiev is in the deal, what else to get it done. No retention needed

Interesting Rangers deal if you drop Kravtsov, the 1st, and Lundkvist.

Thats fair enough, Just thought there may be some buyers remorse to take advantage of in the NYR ranks. Just wanted to gauge the feeling of NYR towards firstly Goodrow and secondly Kubalik.

We would be in the market for quality picks in the upcoming draft or a quality prospect in return for MAF I believe.

Goodrow isn’t lighting it up so to speak, but he was brought in to do other things and he has been decent at that. Kubalik is interesting, so would Kane and Debrincat but I see us targeting Kessel for cheap and looking for a Fleury to backup shesty.

Lol. Sad hot take. Goodrow come playoffs is gold. Cap dump lol. Wouldn't do Goodrow 1 for 1.

He’s a 26 year old that hasn’t cracked 100 points for his career yet. 12 points in 30 games this season. RFA with one year left before UFA, with the ability to just take a QO and hit the market. You have him going for a 1st, and two super high end prospects.

I think you’re the one thats missed something. The first by itself might be a stretch.

Goodrow isn't playing with Gourde and Coleman anymore (who drove that line). Was awful in 2019 playoffs.

No, that was your suggestion. I merely picked the option you provided for yourself.

Kubalik is a career .62ppg producer at a good age and cap hit for a team that is wanting to win a cup. A 1st + prospect (kravtsov) is a fair return.

There can be debate about Goodrow sure, but thats why we use this ACGM to gauge what other fanbases opinions and values are.

Clearly NYR are still happy with Goodrow and his cap and term. This ACGM achieved what I needed.

Sure.....Drury is going to trade Goodrow after making it a point to trade for his rights and then sign him long term and then the team has one of its best starts in its history. Sure....makes all the sense in the world. Its a nonsense trade that has ZERO chance of ever happening.

Gotcha - totally. It seems that NYR has been rumored to be in the market for a F so it does make sense! Wish Kubs was, I could see a DeBrusk "change of scenery" swap (with other possible pieces) possibility there if he was!

Do you think a Debrusk for Kravstov move could happen?

Its possible, I read somewhere that B's don't have a problem taking on a younger player. I'd be a little worried just because I am not sure how he would fit, and the coaching staff/organization hasn't integrated younger talent at a successful rate as of late. But on paper something around that wouldn't surprise me - it wouldnt be my first choice as a fan, but i see it!
