Flute backs this up here. Perhaps you need a better understanding of what pending means in this context. That means that the contract is agreed upon, but has not been submitted to the league.

I know you’ve struggled with this for months now, but its really not hard. You were wrong. Tuukka back to Boston was a foregone conclusion all along. Christ, Cassidy is already talking about which games he’ll be playing.

Well, first off that came out half an hour ago. It’s refuted by every other report, and it also doesn’t really prove you right or anything. Everyone’s reporting that the two sides have agreed to terms. Do you understand what that means?

Serious question, do you think there is a higher, or lower than 5% chance that rask returns to boston?
Do you think there is a higher, or lower than .0000001% chance that he signs with a different team?

You’ve been wrong about this every step of the way. There’s no shame in just saying, “ya, i didn’t really know what i was talking about here,” and moving on.

Uhhhh ya. What does that say to you?

The news has progressed as follows:
1. Tuukka and the bruins have agreed to terms.
2. Haven’t submitted contract to the league because they’re figuring out the best way to do it (cap purposes, taxi squad purposes etc)
3. Announce schedule for Tuukka getting games in providence.
4. Signs PTO in providence.
