Give the C to Matthews . A to Fox Reilly and Spezz. Give Fox his 9.5 mill. Give Campbell his 4.5-5 million with the 3.5 retention we saved on Kane. And go for it .

No way Rangers trade Fox. Plus he wouldn't play for any other team.

I'll agree with you that Rangers aren't trade Fox. But you really think Fox would forgo his 9.5m X 8 year contract because he doesn't want to play for any other team?

If the first trade with the Rangers is just for fun, that's ok. Otherwise, there's no way to see Rangers accept this one.

As for the Kane trade...well, Sharks would trade him for a bunch of pucks, right now. It's not about the skills. The guy has no character. Nobody likes him.

Montreal doesn't want Doormat and the Leafs 1st will be in the 20's (assuming they make it out of the 1st round) we can get a better offer for Chiarot than this thanks.

No you can't lol. You'll be getting the same offer everywhere else. A low first and fringe player.

No we can get a pick between 16th and 20th if we pick the right trade partner (IMO though the Leafs will finish top 6-8 so around the 25th pick ish lol) plus a prospect not a glorified AHLer like Doormat. We already have our own bunch of Doormat's in Clague, Niku, Wideman and Savard.

Fox will simply refuse to play for you, and even if he didn't in some weird universe, New York would still decline due to Tavares and Marner's insane cap hit. They can't afford those two + Panarin + Trouba + Kreider. And this isn't even taking into account Kakko and Lafreniere's ELCs.

Their getting the way better players but they would have to make 15 million in cap space. Talent wise it's not even close
