Flames dont need depth players. They need to 6 wingers

Patrick is too risky to trade Zadina for him. Price is right for Gagner. Can't see Blues making that trade. They likely view Scandella as good or better than Leddy. Not giving up a 1st on top of it. I'm with you on the Namestnikov trade. Don't be surprised if Tampa is interested in him as well.

You can't have too many Depth players, especially with Covid. A right handed shot with experience that can play top 6 minutes if needed, better than Ritchie (not injured he wasplaying top line for a while). I think it's a good trade.

Sure they need a top 6 player though! RH if possible. But if this covid thing keep making ravages, it might be hard to trade.

Scandella is having a very very tough year. With Mikkola, Walman and Scotty P pushing on left side I think Scandella is becoming a liability. Leddy would be an upgrade and only 1 year.

Im still high on Patrick I hope he gets is mojo back. Detroit seems like a very fun place to play, great young core, blossoming together, perfect place for him to me.

Leddy would likely be an upgrade. I don't see the Blues too much. I just can't see St. Louis giving up a 1st for Leddy but you never know. If Ben Chiarot is the prized rental Defenseman, maybe Giordano too, then Leddy should get a decent return.

Patrick has had some bad luck with concussions. I hope he can have a good career.

Vegas has cap issues, when Eichel returns, if this year. Giving anything up to help their cap is a non starter. Nolan has issues with injuries and is a risky player to acquire, so highly doubt Yzerman gives up much to help their cap and take on possible player that could be done. Yzerman has in the past taken on such players but has not given up to acquire, let alone a young player and a pick.

Wings aren't trading Zadina. He's literally been playing great lately despite the lack of production. He's had such horrible puck luck

Not sure why the Wings would trade value to take a chance on Patrick ever contributing meaningfully. At best, DET would trade a conditional pick to take on Patrick (but then why would VGK do that).
