To be clear, you want a 2nd from Ottawa for Kravstov AND you want them to retain 2.4m??

I understand, but is it that bad? You get 10 mil + a 1st ovr pick + a top RD prospect who's playing games right now.

Killorn - Point - Kucherov
Laffy - Stammer - Palat

Tampa are in win now mode, I don't see them wanting futures at this point in time. Cirelli and Serg are the now and the future for TBL also.

I don't think OTT retain 2.4m and give you a 2nd for Kravtsov. He's not had a lot of bites to date so seems doubtful this would occur.

Also why move Miller for Kaliyev? Miller is a future top 4 LD for you and has shown good promise this season in your system

i just question if they'll be able to resign them + Cernak and deal with the Point extension, while essentially no money is coming off of the books. it should be interesting.

TB keeps Cernak over Sergachev if they can only keep one.

They tend to find a way somehow but yes eyes will be on TBL as they look to handle the cap once more.

Don't think LA would send Kaliyev, but they'd consider Turcotte. Too few wingers in the system to give up their best one.

Point extension kicks in next year and they're pretty much sorted with 6mil in cap space and only need a backup goalie.

Following season when all the contracts are up Killorn comes off. Depending how the manage the above 6 plus Killorn surplus plus potential cap raise they've got about 12mil to cover the Cernak, Cirelli and Sergy raises plus filling out the bottom of the roster. They've also got the option of buying out McDonagh at that point (would mean a 5 mil cap hit 25-26, manageable every other year, worst case)

They can make it work.

Also. In this scenario you've got less money coming off the books than Tampa does and you have to pay Serg and Cirelli.

We're very strong at center and weak at forward, so we wouldn't be sending Kaliyev for Miller, but Turcotte or Vilardi.
