Description

Caps gonna go up. Cernak probably doesn't get 7.5
Some of the younger guys don't get massive this much either. Room for Killorn and/or Palat if you wanna pinch. And Stamkos comes off the books the following year. They'll resign him if he wants to keep playing but it won't be at 8.5.

No I don't. I'm just saying that resigning the big three RFAs is not going to be a problem.

Agreed. I'm simply pointing out the craziness of Tampas cap situation. They're top of the league, still relatively young and keeping their core together isn't going to be a problem.

I'll give you a hot-take, I don't think all three of Cernak, Cirelli, and Sergachev get re-signed when they are all up for third contracts in 2023. It was a tough enough stretch back in 2020 to sign all three of them to bridge deals. I don't see Brisebois pulling that off again
