Agreed. Record in the first round is horrible.
2nd round on is where you find all your good players. Everyone knows that ;-)

late 1st and 2nd rounders are the difference between bad scouting and good scouting teams, the cherry on top is a scouting department who can recognize hidden talent in late round gems.
Teams with 4 or more players playing impactful min from round 4 or later (including undrafted players) typically tend to be better teams.
