1997 - The Tampa Bay Lightning REALLY want Mikael Renberg. Sure, he’s most notable for being that other guy on the Legion of Doom line, but he’s fast and stuff. We will send the Flyers FOUR First Rounders for him and Karl Dykhuis. The picks became: Simon Gagne, Justin Williams, Maxime Oullet, and the last pick was used in a trade-down with Ottawa to select Jeff Woywitka

1998 - You know, actually this Mikael Renberg guy isn’t very good. TAKE HIM BACK. WE DONT WANT HIM. PLEASE, WE’LL DO ANYTHING. We will give you Renberg back and give you Daymond Langkow for Chris Gratton and Mike Sillinger (we know that this guy is known for his loyalty, so we want him)

In 2002-03, the Flyers traded Daymond Langkow to the Coyotes in exchange for their 1st Round Pick in 2003 and a 2002 2nd. The 2002 2nd was packaged with Ruslan Fedotenko for the 4th Overall Selection in 2002, which the Flyers used to take Joni Pitkanen.

With the 2003 1st, the Flyers selected Jeff Carter

In 2004, the Tampa Bay Lightning and Flyers faced off in the ECF. With the teams trading games, it went off to Game 7, which the Lightning won. Ruslan Fedotenko owned the Flyers and was the MVP of Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals. I guess the 6 firsts in total were worth it…

In 2011, the Flyers traded Jeff Carter to Columbus (again, REALLY wanted Carter for some reason…), and the Flyers received a 2011 1st and a 3rd Rounder. Oh yeah the Flyers also got Jake Voracek. With the picks, the Flyers selected Sean Couturier and Nick Cousins

Recently, Voracek was given back to Columbus for Cam Atkinson.

So, who wins the trade? Was it the team that got the likes of Justin Williams, Simon Gagne, Joni Pitkanen, Jeff Carter, Jakub Voracek, Sean Couturier, Cam Atkinson? No. But there were definitely losers, and the Lightning are definitely not one

Btw the squad below is a list of the most beloved players by fans that don’t cheer for the team the player is on. Campbell is on here because he’s the most intimidating out of all of them…
