Sanderson > Chabot

Also I hope Ottawa can draft top 8. One of Lambert, Savoie, Kemell on Stutzle’s wing would be great

I mean Savoie is more of a center but yeah, he’d look nice with Stutzle

We’ll probably be out of that range. I’m okay with any of Kemell, Miroshnichenko, Slafkovksy , Lambert, Cooley, Jiricek or Nemec

No Yurov but Miroshnichenko? Because Miroshnichenko has some big concerns including his consistency, effort off the puck, defence, his passing could use some improvement

Honestly Yurov, Miroshnichenko and Slafkovsky all have concerns and aren’t really producing . Slafkovksy is a 6’4 huge winger so it’s less of a risk

Yurov doesn't really have any concerns, when you're playing 4th line on a KHL team that doesn't care about prospect development, you won't put up many points but that hasn't stopped him from looking good

Lamberts line is looking scary for the competition. They haven’t faced a powerhouse yet but they’re providing a dominant shift almost every time they hit the ice.

Helenius especially has looked extremely good. Huge guy who moves surprisingly well for his size and looks constantly dangerous, keeps on finding those scoring chances.

Indeed. Currently doesn't seem like Räty's fate is looming for the guy.

Speaking of Räty, I'm still waiting for him to join this team lol.

Well I never scouted Raty when he was supposed to go very high ( I started around spring this year and he was between 25-30 the whole time for me) but I can't see Lambert falling to after 15

I doubt he was ever out of it. People look at the fact that the production hasn't been there for him and think the sky is falling. Those who make a living scouting I'm sure recognize that this is a tremendous player (at least most of them).

I’d go out on a limb and say he should be going top 3, if lower it’ll be a massive steal for the team picking him.

Two years ago he was supposed to go first overall in 2021. But things change rapidly if you can't perform, and him being stuck in Finnish junior league did hurt his stock quite a bit.

Now that he's playing in a smaller team than Kärpät in Finland he's looking like a heck of a steal for Isles.

As far as I know a member of his team had covid and he got exposed to it, so he was still in quarantine when the Finnish team travelled to Edmonton, but he himself wasn't ill.

I agree, he's top 3. For me it's the same 3 headed monster that was being hyped up for this draft a year ago (Wright, Savoie, Lambert - not necessarily that order).

He wasn’t producing in Liga. WJC will determine if Lambert goes up or down and Kemell if he goes down

Absolutely agree. Been a little bit disappointed with Kemell. The shot is obviously there but no play driving to speak of. Getting drafted to the right team will be important for his success. Definitely needs a setup man

The big question is

Lambert or Kemell?
