Coyotes decline pretty easily. Not a whole lot to love about that return to take on Zucker in the process, they'd probably rather just get a 2nd straight up for him.

I'm not sure if Coyotes will get more for Kessel. Zucker AND Aston Reese plus a conditional 3rd is a good offer for him as a rental. He's far from his prime when he played for us in our back to back cups.

It's possible that Buffalo gets a bit more than that. But just a bit. Colin Miller doesn't worth a 1st or great prospects.

Arizona says deal here. They won't get anything better for Phil. That's a dream for them

Arizona takes this deal all day long. They get two players who have potential at scoring goals. Zucker needs a change of scenery and Aston-Reese is one of the best 200 ft players in the game

Zucker is a cap dump. Period. Getting Arizona to take on that deal costs more than ZAR and a third, and adding a retained Kessel ups the cost. Don't try and spin Zucker into being something positive, or else you wouldn't want to trade him.

Miller's worth a mid-round 2nd. What would Buffalo have to add to Miller to get a first? Or what additional cap?

While at the TDL Miller will be traded for about a mid second, IMO a 2023 second would be the minimum, maybe more to move into the first round.
It is unlikely any team would give up a first for him, take the 2nd or this trade and walk away pleased with the return.

A dump in a good team. Not in this Arizona garbage one. He'd be a top-6 winger in this team. No-brainer.

There's no point in Arizona acquiring him to be anything less than a cap dump. Arizona will get better offers for Kessel without taking a cap dump.

I bet that he will get to Arizona much less than most of you guys think. Kessel has just 4 goals. His season is far from good and he's playing for one of the worst teams that I l've ever seen since I started to watch the NHL. You'see... I just wanted him cause MAYBE he could help us playing again alongside Geno and Rust. But I don't think he worths more than I offer.
