I wouldn’t be to quick to jump on that, I’d be surprised if they would be Top 3 in at Atlantic or Central assuming you kept all existing rosters the same. Playoffs for sure, First round favourites but underdogs IMO once you get to the 2nd Round

The only concern is the 2nd line but the third line is very strong

Any type of Injury puts a huge wrench into “contender” status for me. The Top 6 is Amazing Bottom 6 not so much, Bottom Pair I would limit to 8-12 mins a night. Gibson gets hurt??? Your basically screwed

Bottom pair is good what do u mean. Anderson is playing top 4 in LA is a great defensive Dman and Deangelo can put up pts

Maybe your right, Iv not watched a Ton of LA but I know in a tie game with 10 mins left I probably wouldn’t roll with Deangelo as my go to pair. That Bottom 6 is to much of a defensive liability

Do you know Faksa and Connor Brown have gotten Selke votes? I don’t know much about Rust but he can def produce pts at a very high level.

I mean if any good team has an injury it hurts their team. even more so if it's their starting G. not sure what your point is there

and the bottom 6 is stacked. Have you seen the kind of season Rodriguez is having? Brown and Faksa are excellent in their own zone and Rust is a top-6er in his own right. Defense is stacked top to bottom as well.

I honestly think the biggest issue with the team is their top-6. not that it's objectively bad or anything, but kakko isnt a top-6 guy and im not convinced (yet) that petterson as your 1c rn is good enough to win a cup
