This just seems unnecessary for us. We’d be better off spending multiple 1sts and Kravtsov in a deal to try and acquire a center not a LD.

There’s other centres in the market that could fill a role decently in New York that would cost less. Brassard from Philly since they are a complete disaster. Travis Boyd from Arizona for a draft pick I’d imagine. Calle Jarnkrok could be a fit since Seattle has no direction at all. Dylan Strome from Chicago I don’t think would cost that much at all if Chicago starts selling off some players. There’s a decent amount of centres that the team could acquire for less.

They don’t need a guy to fill the spot and take some faceoffs. They need someone who can with 55% off even strength faceoffs to play on the 2nd line with bread and Strome. Zibby does most of the PP face offs and Goodrow is our PK/D zone guy. Both of them sit on the 50% fence which is just fine. But Strome is 43%ish and take mostly 5v5 so if that number can change dramatically then we are playing less D and more O with our best line.

I’d do that trade. You could expand it to include Boyd for another pick or kessel if you guys wanted to go that route. But that’s fair value for chychrun

Yikes!! Most people see Chychrun as another Tony Deangelo. An offensive defenseman but don't ask him to play defense lol So your asking for more then 4 first round picks for Tony Deangelo lol Like i said "Yikes!!"

Lol that's more than the Eichel trade. These Chych proposals are getting out of hand and need to stop

Chychrun is quite healthy unlike Eichel. Eichel hasn’t played hockey in almost a year and clearly that was used against Buffalo. Although they did still get a good return in my opinion. Probably not the return they still wanted though. And there are reports of Arizona looking for a big return for Chychrun.

You’re literally the only person that has compared Chychrun to Deangelo…I can’t tell if you’re serious or not. I really hope you’re just joking. Otherwise you’re just a clown
