That's way too much for MAF. I'm not sure why Arizona does that though?

Hawks happily accept that. Overpay

Everyone else easily declines.

Nothing of interest at all for Boston.

Buffalo is rebuilding trading picks for vets is not the way.

2nd and Foeggle might get Kessel. The rest is garbage that gets nothing.

My goalies??
The usual ask for MAF at 50% is Koskinen + 1st. This guy added Yamamoto and that's still not good enough for you? GFO.

I would seriously consider Miller for Barrie, but I don't want to add a 2nd. Not that I don't think he's worth that (he absolutely is), but because (as you say) we aren't at a point in the rebuild yet where it makes sense to be spending picks on 30 year olds.

Do oilers fans enjoy underpricing Fleury

I swear we always get the same damn generic Fleury to Edmonton trades give us something else

Also Fleury has a NTC and he probably wouldn’t waive for Edmonton regardless

Underpricing? *Yawns

It seems every fan base over-prices their guys and under values other teams’ players.

Pro tip: if you are annoyed by the same proposals over again, you are probably on here too much. I suggest you take some time away from here, it will only help you…

Arizona gets a few years of cost certainty with Foegele, a similar player to Crouse, gets McLeod who could fill 3 C and gets a 2nd. Turris is a throw in to even out Cap distribution.

I’m not an EDM fan, and he’s not worth more than a 2nd. 37 year old rental with a bad contract, be lucky to get that. Retention and taking Koskinen pushes the price up but not to a 1st and Yamamoto.

Next problem you have moving him is supply and demand. Very few buyers will be looking for goalies and the ones that are will be looking for a backup. They are not paying big for a backup with a big contract. Edmonton might be the only team looking for a 1 or 1b. You won’t have options to negotiate off them. And if Ullmark goes on the market he’d be a much more desirable option to pay a 1st for. 🤷🏻‍♂️

You are talking about a player whose trade demand is public knowledge, any value he once had is even less.

Let’s compare my “trash” to your “treasure”:

All righty then…

Yes, an overpaid bottom sixer, another bottom sixer, and a 3rd. What a wonderful offer! You know you would have to pay to get rid of bad contracts right? It's a simple no.

Your passion for your team is awesome to see, but your biases are blinding.

1. Moore hasn’t been a regular NHLer for 3 seasons, this doesn’t make him remotely comparable to Kassian, who has had a lot of EV success as the RW for both of the top NHL scorers over the past 3 seasons.

2. You can say that Kassian has had the advantage of TOI with McDavid and Draisaitl and this is true, but to his credit he has had better results than Puljujarvi, Hyman and Yamamoto who are all current top 6 wingers. That gives one a hint as to his value; it is simple: play him with skill and he will score.

3. What does DeBrusk do? He is only being given playing time to attempt to increase his trade value. He scored 27 goals in 2018-19. He has 10 over the past 2 seasons and 29 in the past 3. He does not have the value of a 30 goal scorer, even though you think so. This is the same argument I had with DRW fans regarding Anthanasiou, who once scored 30. Holland overpaid for him when he was terrible and in the end it cost him 2 second rounders for 1 goal (off his hip in his first game) in 13 games. To compare with DeBrusk, AA has 24 goals over his last 3 seasons, after potting 30 in 2018-19. But AA didn’t make any trade demands….

4. This is a fair trade of 3rd line wingers who can move up if needed. DeBrusk needs a change of scenery and there are tons of Oiler fans who don’t want anything to do with him, especially after the AA disaster.

Bottom line is, Kassian probably has more value than JD right now…

What’s with this 2022 1st Round obsession?

2023 is Adam Fantilli’s Draft year, I would think Hawks fans would want to take a shot at him, a current player for Chicago Steel, regardless, it appears to be a stronger draft than 2022…

Regarding my comments regarding Anthanasiou and DeBrusk, the same applies to Kubalik….

Strome is not going to get Yamamoto. The only thing going for Strome is that he played on McDavids junior team with him in 2014-15, that isn’t close to good enough with his underwhelming recent NHL numbers. Yamamoto doesn’t score much lately, but he does everything well, so is still playing top 6 minutes. I don’t see anywhere that Strome would fit in Edmonton….

Love your handle 😀
