that Korpisalo trade is useless. Koskinen once again is putting up better stats than Korpisalo.

Korpisalo's not having a great season but he's had a good playoff run a few years back

These deals are slam dunk for the Oilers IMO. For 2 slight pick downgrades we upgrade or change backup goalie and number 3 LD for this years playoffs. I like this a lot but there is more to do. you left us with 4.5m in cap room and holes to fill. What is the rest of "The plan"?

Why?

1. Giordano doesn’t help. Barrie has been the best Oilers Dman over the last 3 weeks and is a top 5 offensive Dman in the NHL with 2 years left on a value contract. This is a 38 year old slow former Norris winner, we already have one of those. The only benefit is that he can’t take out McDavid’s knee, I suppose…

2. Koskinen is a better goalie than Korpisalo, Skinner would be a better bet…. Korpisalo had a single 9 game playoff stretch in 2018-19 and that is it….

Kenny, you can do better, if you need help figuring out this GM stuff, give me a shout!

He still has his home in Alberta and he is a UFA after this season where he won’t see the playoffs
