Oops! I think the Oilers gave too much for just Debrusk.

That is such an underwhelming return for Dahlin. He is worth multiple firsts.

I was thinking that it would be Beecher with 2 firsts, but I chose Lysell over the other first, because he is Boston's best prospect.

And with a first, you only have the CHANCE of drafting a star.

True. But this is guy who went first overall only a few years ago. I’d imagine they’d want a much bigger return.
I think Dahlin on any team that isn’t a complete dumpster fire is a bona fide number 1 DMan.

If I add another 1st (and maybe give edmonton a little more stuff as well), would this work?

Yeah. Here's a revised edition:
Boston receives: Dahlin, Kassian
Edmonton Receives: Debrusk
Buffalo Receives: Beecher, Lysell, Haula (btw haula is there so buffalo could get an established player and also boston would have too much cap), BOS 2022 1st, BOS 2023 1st, EDM 2023 2nd.

How is this?

Dahlin can stay in BUF. No way is BOS giving up Lysell in a deal for Dahlin

I think it's worth it. They're getting Dahlin. He's still, what, 21? They can finally get a true pairman for McAvoy

They think they already have that guy in Lohrei. I'll be honest whenever Boston plays Buffalo I barley notice Dahlin. Not to mention Lysell leads his junior team in goals and is 2nd in points....as a rookie.

2nd rounder in 2020 that's a smooth skating 6'4 d-man that converted from forward. Was 6th in the USHL last year in points and 1st among all d-men with 14 more pts than the 2nd ranked d-man. This year he's playing at Ohio State where he's playing just under a point per game and is 2nd in the team in points. He's currently T-10th among NCAA d-men in points.

Finally someone else who has seen Lohrei play the and develop the last couple years. Could be a diamond in the rough.
