Description
Obviously some trades will not be 1 for 1, in some of them the Bruins might need to add and in others the other team might need to add, but overall these are the types of players the Bruins should target in my opinion.

This one's probably a pipe dream and would take way more added from Boston's end but he's been in trade rumours before and I'd love him in Boston

    3. Pavel Zacha............for......DeBrusk, 1st

Was gonna suggest something like this.
DeBrusk is talented but currently production is an issue. Along with DeBrusk's rather high QO and request to be traded his value is quite low.
Nevertheless, more than happy with trading Zacha for DeBrusk, but Bruins would have to add a substantial piece to make fair value.

If all it takes for a Yamamoto/DeBrusk trade is for Boston to add a fifth well...Sweeney should have the deal done already. Edmonton might be interested in DeBrusk but they have bigger fish to fry and it starts in net. They are about to waste another year of McDavid/Draisaital brilliance if they don't do something at that position.

He doesn't have any trade value. He can be a UFA unless he receives a QO this summer. Sure looks like no team would pay him 3.6m

I feel like people are a little hung up on this - while the QO isnt an ideal scenario, its not an end all be all. He and whatever team he gets traded to can work out extensions, the team can decline offering the QO and sign him to a lower prove it number, or a longer term deal at a lower number. If DeBrusk and the team are a fit I am sure the team and Jake will find a way to make it work. The QO makes things more complicated and an obstacle, but it can be worked around - its not like trying to move an already signed bad contract.

Ya.. thats just not true at all

Yeah, I don't know how being a pending RFA gives negative value.

Pending RFA until whatever team doesn't give a $4,410,000 QO to a bottom 6 disappointment.

He would really need to turn it around for any team to be willing to keep him past this season.
