Kings should run away from this trade. i wish Rasmus Dahlin could go somewhere else and develop right, but no team should be paying this out for him.

Too much imo currently. If he lived up to his potential as a franchise generational d man, I’d understand it, but that is not the case currently. I hope he gets there cause I was hoping he’d be this generation’s Nicklas Lidstrom.

I don’t think there’s ever gonna be a, “generations,” lidstrom. He was basically a perfect hockey player.

Man I wish Rossi could go somewhere else and develop right too... Who says that??? The city doesn't determine your development. Neither do the fans or the owners (however bad they may be). Coaching and teammates are the key and in case you missed it Buffalo finally has a coach who deploys players according to their strengths and has an immense amount of young talent ready to play in the NHL very soon

Dahlin has actually taken a BIG step forward this year
Guess u haven’t been watching
I think he played over 27minutes in today’s game,
Same with the last game as well

He actually IS developing into a true #1 defenseman
Just took a little longer than expected bc he was stuck on a crappy team with crappy goalies

Sabres aren’t trading Dahlin
He’s been killing it lately

This is a quality offer,
but i think Dahlin is “untouchable” right now

We didn't offer this much for Jack Eichel, and there are some subtle indications that Eichel is a more valuable player . . .

LAK are better than the Sabres but they are not a good team - Turcotte who I thought was going to be a good 2C has not been impressive in anyway as of yet and Vilardi is just a guy- LAK and NYR act like their young players are gold but their wins are in spite of their young players not because - Turcotte zero Byfield zero Kakko zero Lafrenière zero- now if you want to say Dahlin has not delivered as advertised I'd agree, we have seen glimpses of player we'd like but we are getting about 75% of the offense we expected and not much at all of the defense.

Oh cmon, you don’t see his point? The Sabres have are toxic culture of losing. If i was a player i would be worried i would get caught in the cycle. Most guys get worse when they go there.

Sure I see his point but I think it's invalid. The losing culture only exists when the locker room lacks quality leaders to help the young guys keep their chins up and stay positive. When the team had ROR, Kane, Eichel etc. (aka not good leaders) then the losing culture was absolutely in full swing and it was evident on the ice. Granato is a very positive coach and can keep his team positive too. With great leaders like Okposo, Girgensons, Tuch, Pysyk, and Cozens leading the dressing room, the culture is and will continue to shift.

Bahhahahahha. Apologies if this was meant to be sarcasm, in which case it’s really funny and i commend you, but did you just list okposo, girgensons, tuch, pysyk, and cozens as a great leadership group that’s going to help shift the culture? If you’re serious with that, this statement is exactly why the Sabres are doomed for a while. The standards are so low, and they can’t meet them.

I certainly did and I will stand by it. Doubt you would know more about the leadership quality of the Sabres than I would... Just like I would know much less about the same thing with Boston than you

That is absolutely precious, and ridiculously funny. A 20 year old with 70 games, a buyout candidate, and a guy that’s been there for about a week are part of the culture changing leadership group. Too much. That right there is why you’ll be saying, “this team has a lot to build around,” for the next decade of top five picks.

Boston is a team getting old fast and has a MEH group of prospects maybe a 50/50 chance of making the playoffs this year and if they do they probably exit rather quickly

It's just kind of sad that a good player like McAvoy is stuck on a fading team maybe you should trade him to an up and coming team.
