I’ve been surprisingly happy with Borowiecki this year — not interested in giving up a 3rd for De Haan.

I wouldn't be completely opposed to having De Haan for playoff depth, but maybe for a 5th? Feels like NSH is paying for retention they don't need here.

Fleury isn't worth anything near that, even with the 50% retention.

DeSmith has not been that much worse than Fleury and it makes absolutely 0 sense to trade a 1st for a backup.

I could see that — a 5th seems more reasonable (especially since NSH doesn’t need retention, as you pointed out). Can’t be worse than Harpur…
