Think all of these moves are bad for Flyers. They take in loads of meh contracts in exchange to capable assets without getting high reward in the process.

It's like the ARI cap dumps with them paying to bringing them in.

Pretty meh for a rebuild. You've traded the big assets but have brought in current players rather than futures. An all out rebuild would have guys like Giroux, Atkinson and a 50% retained JVR being traded for 1sts or high end prospects. You instead fell somewhere in the middle, didn't really make the future look any better nor the present team.

Giroix has a full NMC and Yandle has a full NTC, they had them built into their contracts for a reason, highly doubt the waive them for just any random team (especially Yandle since you say any playoff team in need of depth). Giroux is from Montreal I am not sure how much he wants to help Toronto break their Stanley Cup drought lol. Players from Toronto and Montreal don't usually willingly go to the other city, especially when they have trade protection.

Giroux is from Hearst which is closer to Ottawa. Ottawa is his hometown which still I don’t know if he would want to help Toronto but you are forgetting that he is one of the best in the league to not get a cup and he wants a cup, probably regardless of where at this point

As a Flyers fan I agree. We are just getting some subpar prospects and seconds. If we truly want to commit to the rebuild we should be getting first round picks and/or really solid prospects. Who’s the best player in all these trades, Yamamoto? Need some more talent to commit to this.
