Pens with Habs

Created by: Wreckless
Team: 2021-22 Pittsburgh Penguins
Initial Creation Date: Jan. 2, 2022
Published: Jan. 2, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Prices the Pens could probably pay today to land these players.
Lehkonen as depth at forward would be an embarrassment of riches. It’s a long haul to win a cup.
Gonna be interesting to see what team wins the Chiarot derby. I wouldn’t be surprised if Gorton finds away to get a prospect he really likes instead of the picks though.
I liked the Pens as a team before (other than in nets), but this team with an upgrade like Allen I think matches up well against anyone.

Pens wouldn’t pay a first for Chiarot much less adding another pick. Allen is a massive downgrade in net so no way they do Jarry or a 1st alone let alone both. I don’t get what the point of the troll is…

Maybe the Lehkonen trade but neither of the other two are happening, Pens are more then set at LHD and the Allen trade is laughable.

You guys like Tristan Jarry in Pittsburgh?

I'm not a Pens fan but he's their starter.

Also its highly unlikely anyone is giving a 1st for Allen.

Something like DeSmith and a 2nd for Allen and 6th might make some sense for Pittsburgh idk.

I’m aware that he’s currently their starter, but if I were a Pens fan, I wouldn’t have much faith in him after recent postseasons. To each their own I guess.

He had a terrible Islander series last year, but under this new goalie coach he has bounced back really well. Only Jack Campbell has a better save percentage among starting goalies.

Cause Allen has seen tons of playoff success? Allen has been mediocre at best for the most part. Jarry has been great this season. Having an actual goalie coach who isn’t terrible has done wonders for him. Stop acting like you even believe these aren’t ridiculously bad trades. We all know it’s a weak troll attempt.

Overvalue regular season success against weak competition at your own peril.
Interesting comp you use with Campbell. It’s very true that Toronto is an excellent regular season team…

The only thing here being overvalued here is a 5th defender, a bottom 6 forward, and an average goalie.
