The best options are.

Allen.
Dreidger.
Stolarz.

The other option is to trade a larger package for a higher end goalie like merzlikens or gibson.

If im Edmonton, I go for one of fleury/holtby/varlamov and MAYBE one of korpisalo/forsberg, depending on how much they can trust Skinner to backup

Rask is coming back to boston, contract is being worked out atm. It will be some combo of Rask/Ullmark with swayman in the AHL.

If you're EDM you actually want a short term "bandaid" If the contract comes off the books next year...why couldn't you go get Jack Campbell just like you did with Hyman? That would be your long term solution.

I think the best bet is fleury but that isn't long term.

Allen.
Dreidger.
Stolarz.

Does not seem like much of an improvement over Smith or Koskinen.

I would run Skinner, See what you got in a young guy. Then maybe next year you are looking for a 1B instead of a 1 this year.

Quoting: jacobla

Korpisalo, Forsberg and the other guys above are they really that much better than Skinner? not according to the numbers

Gibson not going anywhere, ducks are in a playoff spot. and who says Fluery wants a trade.

Plus history tells us homegrown goalies win cups. I think Boston would be the only team who won a cup that didnt draft their goalie (TIm Thomas) but really prior to Boston did he do anything?
