Description

My idea is that we need 1-2 punches. Kreids and Mika is the perfect example. They complement each other and have amazing chemistry. While people say 10-16 is the best 1-2 punch, I think that breads ability and strokes locker room prescribes give them opportunities to make new 1-2 punches. 13-16-21 has been the best rangers line the past 2 games. Keep it together. Let bread help chytil into becoming a top 6/middle 6 center. Also kakko should have bread be his compliment. Gauthier has had numerous opportunities which he has been unfortunately not able to cash out on but with playing with 20 and 93 I think he will have better chances to put the puck in the back of the net. We should keep 13 16 and 21 together, and give 10 72 and 24 an opportunity. Also bread should not be on power-play one. If we spread out the office on both power play units we will have two effective units. I would take 20– 16–24–93–23 and 13–72–21 –10–8 any day of the week

The "mess" is a result of not being willing to shake things up a bit. RussianRanger9 is making good assumptions. The magic between 10 and 16 is diminishing but the 13-16-21 combo is hot right now and who knows if we can hang on to 16 for next season. Giving 72 and chance to work with 10 can only benefit him and he played well with 24 last year. Adding 15 to 20-93 should work too - just think of the speed on that line.

The only difference I would like to see is bringing Schneider up for a while and see how well he and Jones play together.

I want what your smoking....... panarin not on PP1? Our PP1 eats up 75% of our PP time and you want a top 7 player in the entire league not on the ice.. smh.. strome laf and goodrow have been good I like that look to so give them a few more games but its not a permanent fix until we make a trade and decide on stromes future with us. In the meantime if you keep 13 16 21 as 2nd line then put kreider on rw for a few more games see if he can manage with panarin and mika. That line would be overkill but fun to watch. 3rd line could be chytil kakko and Gautier but Gautier playing off wing not to sure about and that line wouldn't produce much offense..

just because a line is hot, doesn't mean it is the answer. Hunt was "hot" with Strome and Panarin too, how did that work out?
if the team is staying within, the answers are pretty simple...

Kreider - Zib - Kakko
Panarin - Strome - Laf or Chytil
Laf or Chytil - Goodrow - Gauthier
Hunt - Rooney - Reaves

the mess is having two of your top offensive performers playing on the 3rd line.
