1. McLeod is playing in the NHL Roster for sure. He's had an amazing season.
2. Vegas gets a 3rd in return.
3. Why do we need Boyle?
4. Why is Kassian with McD?

Quick is the perfect solution to Edmonton's goaltending woes, but unfortunately for the Oilers, (1) I don't think that Quick wants to go to Edmonton, and I'm convinced that we'll extend him the courtesy of asking him, (2) that's an insufficient return for him, (3) we aren't in any mood to help a divisional rival, and (4) we don't have any need for cap space in the next few seasons.

1) I didn't really try to construct the lines.
2) Boyle is to bolster your fourth line depth. He's been playing very solid this year, but will be out of the lineup when the Pens are fully healthy.
3) Vegas has little leverage, but you may be right.
4) McLeod has 6 points in 24 games. That's an amazing season?

I honestly don't know what the return would be for Quick, so I was just kind of trying to gauge by team leverage, cap hit for next season, current play vs. last few years, etc...

What do you think the return for Quick would be?

Assuming that we decided to move him and he wanted to move, I think a 2022 second and an A prospect. He's been very, very good this year and when last I looked, he had the highest save percentage 5V5 of all starting goalies.

Fair enough. I think would still be worth if for EDM if LAK decided to do business together when you consider people on here throwing out 1st round picks for Jake friggin Allen lol

To add onto this...

Nope, I got nothing to add. Nailed it here.

Yeah, I agree with him. I think EDM should still make that deal if LAK is a seller and is cool with trading within the division.

Good catch. My bad on that. I'll leave it for right now since we don't know how a lot of those contracts will play out. Plus, they're going to have spend around $5M on a starting goalie regardless.
