Elvis Merzlikins is Columbus' starter, and the Blue Jackets just signed him to a five-year extension, so why in the world would they trade him for a bad UFA and a round-the-corner third?!?!?

You could add a first to that offer and Jarmo would still decline it instantaneously.

Elvis isn’t available from Columbus. He is their number one and signed to a long term extension. Not to mention the 3rd is the price just to take koskinen.

Hard pass from Habs. Maybe the 1st and second for Chiarot if you make the first an unprotected 2023. You aren't getting Chiarot and Poehling for a first and second.
